Dear all -
Excuse my ignorance, but I've RTFM'd (and a RFM it is too ...) but
cannot discover how to get formail to generate a complete set of
return addresses when there are 2+ addresses in the REPLY-TO field.
For example, a when piping the following message through formail -r:
From randy(_at_)uk(_dot_)ac(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ircmail Wed Jan 3 10:09:34 1996
Received: from s1355 by ircsun0.essex.ac.uk; Wed, 3 Jan 96 10:09:32 GMT
Date: Wed, 3 Jan 1996 10:09:49 GMT
From: Randy Banks <randy(_at_)uk(_dot_)ac(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ircmail>
Reply-To: birca(_at_)uk(_dot_)ac(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ircmail
randy(_at_)uk(_dot_)ac(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ircmail
Subject: Output from "cron" command (fwd)
To: request(_at_)uk(_dot_)ac(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ircmail
Message-Id: <ECS9601031049A(_at_)ircmail(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ac(_dot_)uk>
[ stuff deleted ... ]
formail returns:
To: birca(_at_)uk(_dot_)ac(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ircmail
Subject: Re: Output from "cron" command (fwd)
References: <ECS9601031049A(_at_)ircmail(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ac(_dot_)uk>
In-Reply-To: <ECS9601031049A(_at_)ircmail(_dot_)essex(_dot_)ac(_dot_)uk>
i.e., the second (+ ?) address in the Reply-To field is dropped.
TIA for any assistance.
BTW - I'm running procmail(/formail) 3.10.
randy
