2 out of 38 messages in my infolder hit the bit-bucket
One was addressed to me personally, and should have ended up in the
default mailfolder. The other should have ended up in one of my
mailinglist-folders.
I use file-locking ( :0 c: ) everywhere, and after all the
lists etc, I copy the earlier rules, at the :0 c: labels,
but this time I sink the stuff to /dev/null (without file-locking).
The idea is that the same mail can hit both a list and also folders
collecting mails on specialized subjects.
My .procmailrc is very large, and I intend to trim it. But, can this
cause problems when a mail-folder is being processed. Many many
processes?
What's going on?
As I said, ALL THE /dev/null RULES ARE COPIES OF PREVIOUS RULES, THAT
SHOULD HAVE DELIVERED THE MAIL TO ONE OR SEVERAL FOLDERS BEFORE SINKING
IT!
All the other 36 mails was placed in their respective folders correctly.
Very strange! Maybe a file locking problem?
Any clues?
