This may or may not be your problem, but...
The first time I used a .forward file, it didn't work and I got
very strange-looking messages, and this was just trying to
forward to a file.
It turned out that my home directory was mounted under a different
pathname on the machine on which sendmail was running. Using
the pathname *as seen on that machine* worked.
Is it possible that sendmail is running on a different machine
in your environment, and /home/toldo has a different path?
Or isn't mounted at all (in which case you'll have big trouble
getting it to work :) ?
You might ask your admin to install procmail etc. in /usr/local/bin
everywhere.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
