Hi,
Could anybody tell me how to achieve this thing I want to do? I am
sure you have done it already so that could save some time :-)
What I want to do is check my subject line for lines like this:
getnames GROUP
getreport GROUP WEEKNR
The first one should reply (to the sender) with the contents (and
maybe some other message appended?) of the file addresses.GROUP
The 2nd command would use GROUP and WEEKNR to reply (or return to
sender) a file that could be named GROUP.WEEKNR
Is there a way to do it? I looked at the man pages and the article
I have but don't see any recipe to return to sender, only forward
to a fixed address, store in a folder etc but not return to sender.
I know, a mailing list would be perhaps more suitable for that
but I am not the sysop, I installed procmail in a 'common'
account to simplify the mail distribution within the group.
Thanks in advance,
Emilio
