Hello out there! I am new to procmail and am experiencing a long delay
from the time an incoming mail message arrives and is delivered. It
happens for mail messages of a fairly decent size, say 250K bytes.
I turned VERBOSE=on. Here is an example:
procmail: [12311] Sat Mar 30 08:42:55 1996
procmail: Match on "^Subject:.*yoda:.aliases"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=/dev/null"
procmail: Opening "/dev/null"
From root(_at_)yoda(_dot_)lsil(_dot_)com Sat Mar 30 08:11:16 1996
Subject: yoda: aliases
Folder: /dev/null 228596
procmail: Notified comsat: "minter(_at_)0:/dev/null"
It took 31 mins to process this 228K byte email message. Anyone know
what could be causing this long delay? procmail pegs the CPU of my
machine during this time.
Thanks for any help,
-Michael
