procmail 3.10 or 3.11-pre4?

I'm getting ready to build a newer version of
procmail and install it as the delivery agent (MDA)
on our primary mail server.

Should I use 3.10 or 3.11-pre4?

Are there any necessary patches for 3.11-pre4?

What is the latest word on 3.11-pre5, or a
production release?
