Some one mentioned the "correct" fields to use according to thr
RFC and right after that, I had a little hiccup in my mail
processing that makes me wonder about something.
I have a piece of mail, it looks like this (without the " > " quotes):
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
From nameB(_at_)world(_dot_)std(_dot_)com Mon Oct 7 09:31:27 1996
Date: Mon, 7 Oct 1996 09:30:39 -0400 (EDT)
From: Name-A <nameA(_at_)world(_dot_)std(_dot_)com>
To: "Michael C. Tiernan" <mtiernan(_at_)bbn(_dot_)com>
Subject: problem
bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Now who's it REALLY from according to the "Rules"?
Who does procmail SAY/THINK it is from?
In the event that the two questions don't give the same answer,
is ther anything that can be done to make the two agree?
Thanks for your time everyone.
