I'm using procmail 3.1 on MkLinux for PPC. sendmail is configured to use
procmail as a delivery agent. Mail gets delivered, but procmail complains
about locking failure on "<persons mbox>". It then indicates that the mail
is sent.
This is problematic because procmail takes a long time before deciding to
give up on the lock (I guess).
procmail 3.1?!?! Wow that's old: upgrade to 3.11pre4, as found at
ftp://ftp.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/pub/packages/procmail/
Make sure you install it setuid root.
