        What are the ownership and permissions of the .forward file?
        Is this a sendmail site?  
        Is this site configured to use 'smrsh' 
                (sendmail restricted shell)?  
        Is /usr/local/bin/procmail on the "smrsh" list of "safe" 
                programs?
