There is some ambiguity here: does the `it' inside the brackets refer
to the date, or to the complete `From ' line?
Let's try: Start procmail with an empty rc file (/dev/null), default
action is to pipe to stdout.
abacus(50):~$ procmail -f- /dev/null DEFAULT="|"
From: me
To: me
Body
^D

It is the complete From line, so it will work. Almost forgot:
abacus(51):~$ procmail -v
procmail v3.11pre7 1997/04/28 written and created by Stephen R. van den Berg
<srb(_at_)cuci(_dot_)nl>
But AFAIK, it should also work with 3.10 (maybe earlier).
