Funny, this came up recently on another mailing list.
NT is *not* POSIX compliant. It has an optional POSIX module that
allows you to run programs with a POSIX personality.
This module seems to be designed for one thing only: passing the POSIX
tests, and achieving the corresponding seal of approval. The usability
in real applications is very limited.
I don't know for sure, but does OS/2 has a similar module?
