I cannot get my vacation program to deliver mail to an aliasname.
You mean, you can't get vacation to respond to mail sent to an alias.
I used /etc/aliases and made the alias, then ran newaliases.
mail addressed to aliasname gets delivered to realname
Then I invoked vacation like this:
vacation [-a aliasname] -It0 realname
Leave out the square brackets: they appear on the manpage to indicate
that the "-a aliasname" is optional, and should be left out when you
actually type up the command line.
