Folks, a subject like "real Newbie Question!" is totally useless. I
don't care how basic you think your question is, please put a subject
on your message that's at least mildly descriptive of the _content_ of
the question.

Yes, there's a newer version version out. It's still marked as a
'pre-release', but Stephen's pre-releases are stabler than many
packages final releases. 3.10 has several serious bugs in it, so
I would suggest upgrading to 3.11pre7. While it's compiling you can
read the HISTORY file for a list of all the changes. procmail's home
location is:
