Regarding my apology message, I noticed that my mail program 'corrected' the
two initial capitals in the * ^TOprocmail condition I mentioned. I do have the
syntax correct despite what my message said.
Now for the question for which I subscribed. I recently modified my filter and
added a * ^FROM_DAEMON condition that made an exception to my junk mail filter
that doesn't let any messages from .com or .net domains through unless I have
the domain on my list.
Shortly after the modification, I got a piece of junk mail. Apparently it
deliberately or accidentally slipped through the daemon exception. (I don't
know for sure because I didn't have verbose logging on at the time.) Because
the 'From:' address has the word 'mailer' in it, does procmail consider it a
MAILER_DAEMON?
