I saw our name (cefali.com) listed as a spamming site on your list. We

Thank you, David Cefali

The domain was listed among the Cyberpromo domains posted here and several
other places on the Internet. I guess you are now trying to de-lice yourself
from that relationship, probably because you realize that you made your way
onto several blacklists once CyberPromo's list was made public. Not very
good for a consulting company....

With all due respect, I have this mailing list archived back to June 1997
and the only reference to 'cefali.com' is your message.

Your archive must not be very good... or perhaps you delete large messages.

That is, however, the only mention of it in the 9400 messages I have... and
it does not show up on Spam-L. Therefore I will remove your domain from my
blacklist.

You might want to post to Usenet groups news.admin.net-abuse.email and
news.admin.net-abuse.usenet since the CyberPromo lists were published there
as well.... and it would be a good idea to make sure your Internet providers
(beachnet.com) have a strong Anti-Spam stance (I could not find one on their
site) so you do not become tarnished again by association.

Before anyone starts complaining about guilt by association, I have heard of
2 legit domains out of all the ones associated with CP, which were, I
believe, in the hundreds. Most of the associates were guilty.

ps -- I will forward your message to the Spam-L list, where others
(including AOL and Sprint) are probably filtering you.
