This is gonna piss some folks off, but it will be the last time I post my
problem on this list. I will detail in this message everything thats
going on. Background: I am running this system at home as a single user
style, system connected to my ISP through a dynamic IP and polling my mail
using POP3. Procmail is v3.10; Fetchmail 4.3.2
First off, you might want to consider upgrading to procmail 3.11pre7. You
can install it and keep it local to your home directory, if need be. What
are the permissions on your home directory? 3.11pre7 says that it
fixes this bug:
could not read .procmailrc files in 700 $HOME dirs
Try changing the permissions on your home directory so that everything
is r-x for testing purposes. If it works then, upgrade. Feel
free to mail me privately to debug this.
