Hi People,
I've only just started playing around with formail and procmail
combined
and have this small problem.. Check it out:
For some reason procmail is sending mail to
tremors(_at_)newjackswinf(_dot_)dyn(_dot_)ml(_dot_)org
and the users name which is
george(_at_)newjackswing(_dot_)dyn(_dot_)ml(_dot_)org and
vieira(_at_)newjackswing(_dot_)dyn(_dot_)ml(_dot_)org(_dot_)(_dot_) But I just
wanted the actual email address
not the users name.. this is causing alot of undeliverable mail BUT still
works because tremors##.##.## is correct too..
Any ideas?? Thanks
This is my recipe:
FROM=`formail -xFrom: `
:0:
* ^Subject:.*test
| mail -s "NCI test ok" -c $FROM << $FROM
NOTE: the $FROM << $FROM is just so I could see what the variable had but
didn't work
This is the logs:
procmail: Assigning "INCLUDERC=/home/nci/.procmail/rc.nci"
procmail: Executing "formail,-xFrom:"
procmail: Assigning "FROM= George Vieira
<tremors(_at_)newjackswing(_dot_)dyn(_dot_)ml(_dot_)org>"
procmail: Match on "^Subject:.*test"
procmail: Couldn't determine implicit lockfile from " mail -s "NCI test ok"
-c
