Can you tell me if procmail can do HASHSPOOL :

  Yes, but it'd be '/var/mail/j/jblanco' or '/var/mail/j/b/jblanco'

What does version of procmail do this? Is it a pacth? Can you this patch

I know '3.11pre7' does. Its an option you can set in one of the source
files, no patch involved.

and send me that? What happens if the directory does not exist, I lost the
incoming mail?

  It'll create it if needed.

I'm not an expert on this but I believe all the above to be correct
from what I've learned playing around with it. Hopefully someone will
point out my errors if incorrect :-). There is also a popper (by the
same author ?) called 'cucipop' which also natively supports a hashed
mail spool.
