mime and forwarding problem

1998-07-09 12:43:56
I'm having a small problem I don't understand. At my ISP, i receive all of
my mail, and pass it through procmail. At that time I forward most of it
to my desktop using the
| (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)
syntax.

The problem is that all mime enclosures are not treated as mime enclosures
when they arrive. Is this something to do with procmail's forwarding, and
if so, what can be done about it?

BTW, I'm running redhat version 5.1 using metamail and elm, and these are
apparently working for everyone else in the world that I've asked. The
only difference I can find is that all the mail is coming to this machine
via the procmail mechanism above.

thanks,
-chuck
