Hi Folks!
I'm trying to do a real basic thing here, straight from the man pages as a
matter of fact...but it's not working
Here's the recipe:
 :0
              * ^From: *(_at_)linus(_dot_)uhmc(_dot_)sunysb(_dot_)edu
              {
                 :0 c
                 ! cjraven(_at_)quik(_dot_)com

                 :0: #Trailing colon to do lockfile (?) [my comment]
                 saved
              }
I have the feeling that this is something to do with a lockfile, in the
preliminaries in the .procmailrc, there exists the following:
LOCKFILE=${HOME}/.lockmail
Now, I have to say that I don't have this file in my setup, so maybe
that's what is missing.
What should the contents of a lockfile be? What should I set the
permissions to?
So far, I haven't found any material on the contents of a lockfile in any
resource pages I've read.
Hope someone can shed light on this...
(BTW Procmail.log says the following:)
--<snip> procmail: Skipped "{"</snip>
TIA
-Colin
