Hello Jari:
First of all, THANKS A LOT for Replying! :) Finally I found someone
using procmail for the same purposes! =))
I think I may not have explained myself properly. I thank you a lot
for your suggestions.
About the suggestion of using Lingua im afraid I cant, since I'm
in Mexico and only Spanish is spoken here :(
I already have a box which receives page request through e-mail or
Web (ports 25 & 80), what I need is a notification message to be
sent when a standard e-mail arrives, to the pager of the UNIX user.
For Ex, I want to receive in my pager:
You have new mail
From: Jari Aalto <jari(_dot_)aalto(_at_)poboxes(_dot_)com>
Subject: Re: Procmail..
SO I can notice a new standard text mail arrived and if it is the urgent
message I was expecting for, log on to my e-mail account and read it..:)
Of course, *Supressing* the message body, I think it may be possible to do this
using your recipes, but you didn't told me where to download your module kit.
The existing e-mail paging system allows direct paging, if you send me an
e-mail
to joliden-pager(_at_)cedetel(_dot_)com(_dot_)mx I receive the message in this
format:
Jari Aalto <jari(_at_)poboxes(_dot_)com>|Re: Procmail..|Hello this is message
body
Note fields are separated with pipes when displayed on my cellular phone.
This is direct paging, what I want is my customers to have with us a
Standard e-mailbox, and when they get new mail being notified through
their pagers with a generic message (You have new e-mail) plus the
message headers desired (FROM and SUBJECT)
Is this possible using procmail? :))
I thank you again a lot for all your help, i hope you can give me the address
where I can download our module kit and to hear from you soon!
I send you my best regards from Mexico!
Jesus Oliden
P.S. Any ideas from the Procmail Mailing List people are WELCOME!!
