home mailing list

I'm currently running a mailing list program I wrote from a www. server
(not my ISP). This worked for a time, but now I find that I need to move
the list program to a different server. What I would like to do is move
the program to my home PC (Linux with dial up access to ISP). Briefly it
would work like this:

List mail would still go to the domain server mail box. Once an hour my
home PC would dial in (cron), check the list mailbox with fetchmail, use
procmail to pipe the mail to the list program which would send the mail
out to the list members, and then close the dial-up connection.

What I need to know is, is there some way to have procmail pipe one letter
at a time to the list program, wait for it to execute or fork, and then
send the next letter? The list program is written to only handle one
letter at a time.
