Possible, yes. Necessary, no. In fact, you shouldn't use a lockfile as
dmail (well, the library behind dmail) does its own locking, both kernel
and dotlocking as appropriate for the mailbox type. If you specified the
'correct' lockfile you would deadlock your own dmail process.
