When I sent the message with the subject "Procmail Quick Start
pointer (& some questions)" it had these (and other) headers:
To: Procmail Mailing List <procmail(_at_)informatik(_dot_)rwth-aachen(_dot_)de>
Newsgroups: comp.mail.misc, comp.mail.pine
Subject: Procmail Quick Start pointer (& some questions)
When it arrived on my news server it had these (and other) headers:
To: Procmail Mailing List <procmail(_at_)informatik(_dot_)rwth-aachen(_dot_)de>
Newsgroups: comp.mail.misc, comp.mail.pine, mcom.list.procmail
Subject: Procmail Quick Start pointer (& some questions)
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
My questions:
* What is the newsgroup mcom.list.procmail? And why as my message sent
there?
* Why did it use quoted-printable encoding, which normally never
happens when I send messages with Pine.
Thank you for any info,
Nancy
FYI, I am also sending this message to the procmail list *and* the
comp.mail.misc and comp.mail.pine newsgroups.
