.forward switched of by sysadmin: How to use procmail?

At my current job the processing of .forward is deactivated by our sysadmin
due to security reasons.

I've been using procmail for a long time now to split incoming mail into
minor important parts (mailing lists, etc.) and "important" parts.

As far as I know procmail is invoked by the .forward-mechanism or -- more
direct -- directyl by sendmail. Both approaches are not usable within my
environment.

Is there any possibility to use preprocess my incoming mail with procmail?
