Greg Waits asked,
| can anyone tell me if this is telleng me that my 'formail" program is not
| working?
|
| "procmail: Executing "/usr/bin/formail,-D,8192,msgid.cache"
| procmail: Program failure (1) of "/usr/bin/formail"
| procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=/usr/bin/formail -D 8192 msgid.cache"
| procmail: Unlocking "msgid.lock"
In order to work with procmail the easiest way, formail -D returns success
when a message is a duplicate and failure when it is not, so it's telling you
that formail failed to find the ID of that message already in the cache. In
other words, it was a new message rather than a duplicate of one you'd re-
ceived before, and everything is working properly..
Newer releases of procmail give the message "Non-zero exit code" instead of
"Program failure" when a program called by procmail exits with non-zero status.
