A few extra comments in the Makefile would be quite helpful.
The ARCHITECTURE variable in the Makefile _only_ changes the name
underwhich the binary is installed. If you're installing procmail into
a location that is not shared between platforms, you don't need it all.
In general, the only people who need to set ARCHITECTURE are people
installing procmail into their own home directory, say, ~/bin.
