I would like to use procmail on my Mandrake Linux 6.1 box. Sendmail
appears to be working correctly (as far as this non-mail guru can tell

I don't think procmail is even being executed; I have no log file.
Any ideas?
Remove your .forward file: procmail is invoked as the local delivery
agent by default on redhat systems. Then, to head off another problem,
make sure your .procmailrc and your home directory are not
group-writable.
