how do you test if mail is from a mailing-list? Please tell me the header
fields that indicate that mail was not sent from an individual, but from a
mailing list. Are there standards?
There aren't any standards as far as I know, it all depends on the
mailing list software thats used as to what headers might be available.
For each of the mailing lists I belong to, I've just looked for a
header line that contains a reference to that particular mailing list
and used that. For example for this mailing list I use the following
recipe:
:0 :
* ^List-Id: .*procmail\.lists\.rwth-aachen\.de
N-PROCMAIL
HTH
