Can't create output

I have searched the list archives but not found the right answer.

We have set up a recipie for a vaction mail message. It actually works.

However we also get a message that says

   ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
"|IFS=' ' && exec /usr/local/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #test"
    (expanded from: <test(_at_)ledanet(_dot_)com(_dot_)au>)

   ----- Transcript of session follows -----
550 "|IFS=' ' && exec /usr/local/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #test"...
Can't create output

In the log it says

procmail: Error while writing to "/var/mail/test"
procmail: Error while writing to "/var/mail/test"
> From asticha(_at_)in(_dot_)com(_dot_)au  Tue Dec  5 13:04:44 2000
 Subject: test
  Folder: **Bounced**

Seems procmail does not have permission for writing to the users mail
directory or something else is wrong. Can anyone who has been down this
track give enlightenment?
