Inserting text in multipart-messages

2001-01-12 09:50:14
Hi!
I'm rather new to procmail and have read through the archives already. However, I've not found a solution for my problem:

I would like to insert text at the beginning of an email body and then forward the email to another account. For normal ascii emails this is quite easy. However, for multipart-messages this does not work. The text is inserted after the header and before the multipart-statement. So at the moment my modified message looks like

To: info <info(_at_)somewhere(_dot_)de> <mailto:info(_at_)somewhere(_dot_)de>
Subject: Test
From: user(_at_)some-domain(_dot_)de <mailto:user(_at_)some-domain(_dot_)de>

<<<<<inserted text by procmail >>>>>>>>>

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
--------------060303040800040505080203
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
instead it should look like this

To: info <info(_at_)somewhere(_dot_)de> <mailto:info(_at_)somewhere(_dot_)de>
Subject: Test From: user(_at_)some-domain(_dot_)de <mailto:user(_at_)some-domain(_dot_)de>

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
--------------060303040800040505080203
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <<<<<inserted text by procmail >>>>>>>>>

Any idea how to do this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Stefan Siebert
