A sample small $HOME/.procmailrc:
PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/bin
MAILDIR=$HOME/Mail #you'd better make sure it exists
DEFAULT=$MAILDIR/mbox #completely optional
LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/from #recommended
Did that but it does not work. I have given the path and the maildir
variables as desired. Still gives the same error.
procmail: Executing "(formail,-rt,-APrecedence: junk (autoreply),-A,X-Loop:
test 12_vacation, "
(formail: (formail: No such file or directory
Then you need to find out where formail is and add that to your $PATH.
The above path is pretty narrow. On one of my systems the $PATH looks more like
this
PATH=$HOME/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/rhs/bi
n:/usr/local/bin
