Hummm... I've just recompiled with MAILSPOOLHOME set to /Maildir/.
Default rcfile: $HOME/.procmailrc
Your system mailbox: /home/caronj/Maildir/
That worked fine. However, nothing gets sorted, still. BTW, I'm sorry if I
asked the same question only days later. I had obviously missed Aaron's
post/thread (nothing gets sorted, It's hard to follow ANY thread).
So, nothing sorted, nothing in the log. What could I possibly be missing ?
MAILSPOOLDIR is still set to /var/spool/mail in src/authenticate.c, does
that affect anything ? Why does my log file remain empty ? No clue to work
with what-so-ever...
I find a lot of the stuff I read is kind of vague when it comes to Maildir
specifc setup.

I was the one who posted this question a few days ago. The docs
included with the 3.15.1 release are a little out of date, plus it's not
in any faq that I read either. I was banging my head against the wall
for a few days trying to figure out this procmail secret. Kinda
disappointing that it was such a simple change...

This is starting to be a FAQ. Someone just posted the same question a few
days ago.
Try this: Start with a fresh copy of procmail 3.15.1. Edit
src/authenticate.c, uncomment the #define for MAILSPOOLHOME, and change its
value to "/Maildir/". Configure as usual and compile.
I've never done this myself, but I think that's the correct way to implement
Maildir delivery to home directories.
Hope this helps,
Ed
