Is the lockfile necessary? I thought it was only needed if you
are delivering to a file. Here two separate instances of the
vacation program would be fired up. Would they trip over each
other's feet? And why don't you allow procmail to name the
lock file if you want to use one?
And why don't you include a * ! ^FROM_DAEMON line to catch other
automatic program responses?
