I'm trying to figure out what is necessary to extract an email address from
list traffic(for plonk purposes) where the format of the "From" line is
thus:
stuff-users-admin(_at_)list(_dot_)stuff(_dot_)com; on behalf of; Brian Brown
[bbrown(_at_)his_domain(_dot_)com]
Are you saying that the From: header field reads something like
From: stuff-users-admin(_at_)list(_dot_)stuff(_dot_)com; on behalf of; Brian
Brown [bbrown(_at_)his_domain(_dot_)com]
If so, then something is broken, as that is not a legal From: header
field. Find the culprit and beat them around the head with RFC 2822.
