Hi everyone,

What I want to do is sort incoming mails into folders in my Maildir.
I'd like to be able to sort based on the To, CC, or From headers.
I'm just looking for something similar to this (mainly for mailing
lists):

    procmail -> '/name/of/Maildir/folder1'
    foo      -> '/name/of/Maildir/folder2'
    ....

Hi Neil,

I specify my maildir's like this:

at the top,

MAILDIR=${HOME}/Maildir

and the delivering recipe i use for this list:

:0
* (To|Cc)(_dot_)*procmail(_at_)Lists(_dot_)RWTH-Aachen(_dot_)DE
.procmail-list/

The trailing / is the money-maker. the preceeding dot ( i think, please
correct if i am wrong) is optional, but to get it to work with Netscape
Messenger (sigh) I had to use the dot.

I'm using Procmail 3.21 as the MDA for Postfix. If it matters, I'm
using the Courier IMAP daemon to retrieve the mail. The mailbox
format is *Maildir* -- not mbox or anything like that.

Your set-up is almost the same as mine except for the Postfix part.
