I have a case of a person who has nothin network or otherwise
to do with 'oemcomputer' but when they send an email, in the
headers appears 'oemcomputer'.
My question is, is 'oemcomputer' computer associated with Hybris
or is there some other explanation for it.
"oemcomputer" is the default machine name "given" to a new PC by its
manufacturer.
Typically many (M$/Mac) users are oblivious to the existence of, or the
relevance of a machine name. Network-aware users on LAN's sometimes realize
that their machine actually has a name, but in my experience this is quite
rare.
The connection you refer to between oemcomputer and Hybris is (I would
deduce) that a user of an default named PC was unwittingly the transfer
vector of another round of Hybris.
Perhaps some of my esteemed and more knowledgeable colleagues on the list
could comment on this.

-Colin
