Update on that problem

2001-07-22 22:21:55
[Sorry didn't save the email I sent so can't reply properly starting a
thread, I'll save this copy for next time]

i put VERBOSE=on in $HOME/.procmailrc and ran:
procmail < email
the output:
maillist:~/Mail$ procmail < ../email
procmail: [2657] Sun Jul 22 21:53:53 2001
procmail: Match on "^X-list: lfs-discuss"
procmail: Locking "lfsdiscuss.lock"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=lfsdiscuss"
procmail: Opening "lfsdiscuss"
procmail: Acquiring kernel-lock
procmail: Unlocking "lfsdiscuss.lock"
procmail: Notified comsat:
"maillist(_at_)51993544:/home/maillist/Mail/lfsdiscuss"
 Subject: test
  Folder: lfsdiscuss 295

And the email is appended, so I'm withdrawing my previous statement that
procmail is not working properly.

But the problem remains that it won't work via postfix. procmail isn't
taking exessively long to finish the operation (about 0.026 seconds).
The thought that postfix is killing postfix when it's taking too long
came to mind, but 0.026 second operation?

Anybody got an idea how I obtain procmail's output when it's invoked via
postfix?
