Currently one must be in the TRUSTED_IDS list to use procmail's
`-f' option without leaving junk `>From ' lines in their
messages. This means that I typically have to pay special
attention when building procmail for myself so that I can use the
`-f' option without cluttering my mail.
My question is why limit the usage of `-f' at all by default? I
just fail to see how that feature is useful in most cases. Users
can obviously mess up their mail in many other ways... It seems
to me that TRUSTED_IDS should either default to allowing all
users to use `-f' unrestricted, or perhaps allow some sort of
run-time configuration. Thanks.
