Header munging

2001-12-17 09:37:41
I have a number of mailboxes of filtered spam that I'd like to mass process. I'm posting the spam to new.admin.net-abuse.sightings. I'd like to munge a few header lines to keep from spreading my users' email addresses around that 'Net any more than they already are. I'd like to munge the To:, Cc:, and the part of the Received: lines where is commonly states the recipient's address. To post to NANAS I also need to prepend "[email]" to the subject line. That part I can do; I found a good example in the archives. I'm not trying to bounce the mail but instead forward a copy of it (with parts munged in the headers) to a specific address. Does anyone have any examples that they have handy that can do something similar or parts of what I'm trying to do, or have any ideas on good keywords to search for in the list archives?

Thanks
 Justin
