Re: 2 separate mailboxes for each mail list

What I'm trying to do is to keep archives of mailing lists apart from
recent posts. I already have my mail sorted by Procmail into separate
folders, now I want to split each folder in 2 - current mail stays in
current folder and all messages that are for at least 1 month old go to
a single gzipped file that I wouldn't use too often (just for a
reference).

Seems to me the easiest way to do this using just procmail would be to store
them at the same time:

For example:

:0
* ^Sender: procmail-admin(_at_)Lists\(_dot_)RWTH-Aachen\(_dot_)DE
{
     :0c:
     procmail

     :0:
     procmail-archive

}

Use the first as normal, read and delete messages from there. Keep the other
as an archive.

Actually the 2nd part of the recipe would gzip the message, not just store it,
but I don't have the syntax for that in front of me... I think it is in the
manpage somewhere.
