Yes. I've already enable logging and have just started working through
learning to read the output.

How about including the text of the recipe?
The recipe I'm using is show below. I'm using procmail v3.22 on a lunux
box. After invoking the recipe a mailbox named testing? is created and
the test message is delivered to it.
