At 1:15 PM -0500 2/14/02, Scott Palmer is rumored to have typed:
I have a pretty extensive .procmailrc, I like to log based on what filter
snagged it. My log line looks like this example:
LOG=" -- Logging -- RULE=CRON FAILURE, MSGID=$MESSAGE_ID .... "
It logs just fine, however each log entry follows the next instead of
starting a new line. I would like to get it to start a new line so it is a
little cleaner and nicer to look at. I have tried \n like you would use in
a shell script, but no luck..
LOG=" -- Logging -- RULE=CRON FAILURE, MSGID=$MESSAGE_ID ....
"
Note the close quote is after a hard return (ok, ok LF).
