The recipe you've been given does not deliver but is instead a filter, so
it will work.  You'll have something like

  :0 fb
  | cat_magic_for_footer

  ...

  :0
  * condition for delivery
  /path/to/mailbox

  :0
  * condition for forwarding
  ! new(_at_)addr(_dot_)ess

in your .procmailrc file(s).
