I'm trying to have email addressed to me delivered to
/home/username/mail/username instead of /var/spool/mail/username.
In .procmalrc I changed MAILDIR to MAILDIR=/home/username/mail and I
changed my .pinerc file to inbox-path=/home/username/mail/username.
After sending a test email to my self it showed up in my backup
file but not in /var/spool/mail/username or /home/username/mail/username.
Now, what really snows me is that nowhere in my .procmail.log file is
/home/username/mail/username mentioned but /var/spool/mail/username is.
Also mailstat shows:
0 1 ## procmail: Notified comsat:
"username(_at_)1119555:/var/spool/mail/username"
and
0 1 ## procmail: Opening "/var/spool/mail/username"
and
3171 1 /var/spool/mail/username
Again, nothing shows up in /home/username/mail/username or
/var/spool/mail/username.
At this point I'm not sure if this is a procmail or pine
problem. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
