I don't know why it matches those headers. It makes no sense and I
can't duplicate it. Are you sure everything was copied/pasted correctly
and are you sure THIS is the recipe that's tripping on those headers?
At any rate, I suspect what you want is "* ^From.*\$\$\$". "$" matches
the end of a line. My guess is you're wanting to match literal "$"
characters, in which case they need to be escaped.
