If your incoming messages have From_ lines, procmail (which you're running
anyway) can get the month of arrival from there and you don't need even the
cron job.
Yup. And I said as much in my first reply on this thread.
But anyway, he's already running cron monthly, so updating
an informational date-file for procmail in the same run
is no biggie.
