There really is no such animal at all, i.e. there is no "proper source
email address." Every header in an email, except the last one can, and
usually is forged, by spammers. The last IP address is usually valid,
that's about it. They also try to use relays to send spam, so, in my
opinion, any reply is useless. Did you not know that one should never
respond to a spam to be taken off the list? This only confirms your
address. There are far more effective means to block spam *before* it
enters your mail server, rejected by your server, such as RBL smtp
blocking. As an administrator, have you looked into qmail and the RBLSMTPD
that is provided? I use my own RBL list, and 2 commercial ones, so mail
must pass three tests before it enters my system. It works *very* well.

In this case, making a recipe for what you want would be impractical in my
opinion...

Slashdot pointed to an excellent article recently about the king of spam
being spammed and he didn't like it, he was being "harrassed" (his
words). It's about bloody time he got a taste of his own medicine!

Actually, Ralsky was not spammed, but was sent and put on everyone's list
by regular mail, not email.
