Messages from a country

Hi,
How should I stop messages from an specific country , let us say .br ?
should I use \.br$ or \.br>  ?

Also I think I posted my first message to the list before I was
in the list, since I did not received it. How do I stop
messges with characters such as ¤¥¼ºÎ±° on the subject ?
