The only software included in the X-Mailer: tags that I've ever been able
to tie specifically to the spamming industry is "Flicks Softwares" (which
I haven't seen in a while) and "eGroups Message Poster." I used to check
for "The Bat!" but found it used by too many "valid" posters.
My list of suspect mailers:
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: Mail Bomber
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: Roving Constant Contact
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: MailWorkZ
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: eGroups Message Poster
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: Jackpot
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: GRMessageQueue
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: Arclab MailList Controller
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: jpfree Group Mail Express

* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: ARELIS
* 9876543210^0 ^X-Mailer: The Bat
only false positive I've seen is some barley legitimate mail from "send this
link to a friend" links that use Flicks
